April 16, 2012 – WORLD – A leading earthquake scientist has warned that the planet could be cracking up after a series of massive quakes in just 48 hours. Expert Gheorghe Marmureanu – from Romania’s National Institute of Earth Physics – says 39 quakes had hit the globe within two days. The series started with two massive quakes in Indonesia measuring 8.6 and 8.2 on the Richter scale rapidly followed by three more only slightly smaller in Mexico within hours. “There is no doubt that something is seriously wrong. There have been too many strong earthquakes,” said Marmureanu. He added: “The quakes are a surprise that cannot be easily explained by current scientific knowledge. With the Indonesian quake for example, statistically, there should be one big earthquake in this part of Asia every 500 years. However, since 2004, there were already three quakes with a magnitude of over 8, which is not normal. –Croatian Times

"bigger problems" than having an illegal running the country and declaring war and pushing the NDAA? really?
who in their right mind wants to control masses of humanity? who in their right mind wants that kinda responsibility? only those who want to CONTROL the masses, as i'm sure all sane people know that you can't make laws for billions, even millions, of people to live in the exact same manner as you do. that's just crazy talk. psycho.

dentists are lame. so this guy i went to see today, same surgeon that i couldn't afford 2 years ago, now wants to do the same thing he wanted to do last time, but charge me 300 $ more than 2 years ago; 1600 instead of 1300 to pull all 4 of my wisdom teeth at once. still can't afford it.
and i really think this oil pulling thing is a good alternative to going under the drugs and the knives of a money hungry dentist. haven't written about this yet, have i? i know i posted on fb about it, and wrote to bailey about it, and in my paper journal... swish some sesame oil around in your mouth for about 20 minutes, every day, and you will see results! or so i've read on multiple forums. before eating in the morning, take a spoonful of oil into your mouth, rinse while doing whatever, emails or something distracting. not very pleasant the first time. second time onward has been easy to keep it in mouth. and then spit out, should be thicker and whiter. this ancient ayervedic technique of pulling toxins out of the blood stream has been reported as the cure for so many ailments. do your own research, try it out, make up your mind. supposed to help migraines, mouth and dental infections, dry skin, thin hair, speeds up metabolism so it's good for weight loss, the list goes on! i'll keep ya posted on my results...

the one to ponder tonight is; do the pros of living on my own outweigh the cons of living alone?
been looking around online for a place to rent. i'm not sure i'll be here much longer, tho i don't know what the plans are now. originally the girl who owns this place was gonna sell it and move, but now that she's called off her engagement and things have shifted a bit, she might stay here. so i well could stay here too, and maybe i will. the biggest reason i'd want to stay here is because i know what i hermit i can be, and if i don't actually live with my friends, i don't really go out to see them.
but maybe i would. maybe that would change, as i get pushed into making more active moves to keep friendships alive and go out to meet new people, rather than let social networking replace communication. summer's coming, which would make getting out a lot more attractive. not sure i can afford a place all to myself tho... soon...
just gotta focus on it.

Get out, get out, get out even more, wanderingirl! Because there are people you've yet to meet, laughs you've yet to share, stories you've yet to live, and riches you've yet to tap into, that will not find you under any other circumstances. Besides, how else can I shower you with surprises? The Universe By the way, wanderingirl, how many sources of income have you been imagining?three, Universe... well, kinda more like three in one; 1) working at this fucking awesome headshop, 2) sewing pouch belts and selling them at summer fests and markets, or maybe even at the shop, 3) as well as baking munchies, customers to be found at work, at fests and markets, and thru friends. and yeah, if i hadn't gone out to visit my newfie friend, i wouldn't have reconnected with bastard the way i did now, and i'm sure i've got a good connection there, as a good friend for laughs and stories, and also as a business connection, as he should be able to hook me up with shake, and teach me how to make ice cream. life is looking good :)

You've done well for yourself, wanderingirl. Real well. Overshot all the forecaster's predictions. Actually, you've thoroughly embarrassed them. Nostradamus is particularly mortified. Tell you what, how about next time we not tell everyone you're just going to "chill out"?
You rock, The Universebest first day of work ever. :D

here's a question that i will be proposing to the pastor my mother now has me communicating with via email (the last quit responding when i started showing them "ancient aliens" and talking about the fact that the sphinx, which we still have no idea how it was built, was actually built about 15000 years ago and has water erosion on it's sides like nobody's business);
so, just to be clear, as adults, we know that violence is not the answer. right? i can assume you agree that beating a child to the point that they lead a miserable existence is not the way to teach them anything, right? i can assume you agree that using a gun to force a person to do anything against their will, be it for good or bad, is not a decent way to go about getting things done, right? i can assume you agree that even using the threat of a nuclear bomb on another country is not really a good way for gov'ts do relate to each other, yes? ok, so we're clear on that. we teach our children that, and we punish them (within reason) when they try to find out if maybe violence could be the answer to solve a problem. we try to uphold this value. and yet we have a very hard time with it. you see adults everywhere breaking this moral every day, domestic violence, animal abuse, cop brutality, terrorism, and all out war. we try to be virtuous, those of us with common sense at least, and show love to those around us. and yet we recognize that humanity can't fully live up to the standard of perfect compassion that we wish we could. we see this, and we fight it. we know we should be capable of love. so why can't god live up to that standard? why does he punish us, his ignorant creations? why does he curse our curiosity? why does he resent our desire to eat the fruit and be perfect like him? why does he use the threat of hell against us if we don't show blind faith and love him with all our being? why did he guide kings into war? why did he decree the destruction of whole cities, women, children, and animals included? why is he not the perfect all encompassing love that we as humanity so desperately need to experience? no matter what religion or leader or philosophy one follows, if i can love my neighbor as i love myself, what right does god, who apparently can't handle a little ignorance in his own creation, have to put me into eternal torment?
that is what my mother is worrying about, that i'm going to hell. if hell is existence without such an ignorant puppet-master-wanna-be of a god, bring it on. if hell is existence without the Being that apparently put me on this rock with mushrooms and said "don't eat the mushrooms", but then i ate the mushroom and felt that i wasn't any different from the Being, that this Being loves me beyond my comprehension, this Being is me and is Life and is Love and is Truth and is the Alpha and the Omega, the Creator and Destroyer, and still is me, then i would think that maybe i had misunderstood when the Being said "don't eat the mushrooms" and that maybe the Being had actually just said "eat the mushrooms" and i probably wouldn't believe in hell any more...
